I have always been extremely spiritual and realized that my background in theater, live television, public speaking, scriptwriting and special event planning helps me create and officiate meaningful ceremonies. There are no do overs when it comes to officiating a service and it’s important to have someone who gives you peace of mind, with the experience, expertise and ability to connect with everyone. I realized I have a special gift and decided in 2001 to make it official and become ordained to share my gift with you.
I love officiating weddings and vow renewals! Just as a tapestry comes to life with the connection of different strings, your life is coming together as a couple with family, friends in the mix. Most of the weddings I perform are in Steamboat Springs... a beautiful wedding destination however, I am happy to travel to other locations.
I enjoy working with wedding planners and banquet managers and value their knowledge and assistance in the wedding process. It truly is worth it to have someone take control of the minutiae in order to really enjoy your day. Some families do this all by themselves and do not hire a planner. Although I mostly officiate the ceremonies, I am happy to provide assistance in some of the details of your ceremony for a small fee.
Steamboat Springs is a small town and we all love to work together to make this special moment memorable. I am happy to recommend photographers, florist, bakeries, event planners and places to stay during your wedding week.
I require a contract and deposit to start your ceremony planning. Once I receive your deposit, I will send you a form to fill out to help me write your ceremony. It's a very simple process and it all begins with you.
